The Last Stand - Theatrical Trailer (HD)
Check out this new Arnold Schwarzeggner
movie. His first starring movie in ten years, Produced by Lionsgate. I remember watching The Expendables at the cinema and listening to the crowd when Arnie enters the scene. Hearing the "Come on Arnie" and loud claps.
I not saying he's a great actor, but he has got charm to fill the screen. I'm hoping he does it with this film.

A Different Same Sung by The Science Bastards; Directed by Matt Brown
Once again my friend Matt Brown has made another music video this time by a Newport band The Science Bastards. The Song is called A Different Same which was scheduled for 27th July 2012 by Junta records. The video does contain scenes which some people will find disturbing.
The director of photography was Chris Jacobi. Production Designer, Props, Costume, Set Dressing and a whole heap of jobs by Felicity Boylett. It was edited by Luke Andrews. Make up and Prosthetics were by Alex Harper of Harper FX. 1st Assistant Director was Michael O'Connor. Camera Assistant and Gaffer was Jan Odenthal. The song was recorded and mixed at Junkyard Studios. It stars Anastasia Cartis.
Check out Matt blog on how produced his dark music video:

Tony Scott 1944 - 2012
Today whilst checking my Facebook, I notice people posting their wall messages on dedication to Hollywood Filmmaker Tony Scott who jumped to his death in Los Angeles.
http://www.talktalk.co.uk/news/uk/article/tributes-paid-to-film-maker-scott/58557/
The 68 year old British film director and also co-owner of Shepperton Film Studios is known for film like Top Gun, Crimson Tide and Enemy of the State which were known for his filmic trademarks like flashly photography and fast paced editing.
I like to express that he was very underrated as a director compared to his brother Ridley Scott, but in my opinion Tony made his masterpiece True Romance which introduced the world Quentin Tarantino a talent to be reckon with. Also he has influenced young filmmakers like Edgar Wright, Robert Rodiguez and Duncan Jones. Also made some underrated films like The Hunger, The Last Boys Scout, and Revenge.
Here's a trailer of Scott's best film: True Romance.

Tuesday's Girl (2009) directed by Matt Brown
May 2007 Matt Brown directed this little short film Tuesday's Girl. Tuesday's Girl is a poignant tale about an elderly woman slowly coming to terms with the onset of Alzheimers.
The Script was written by Nathan Raikes another film colleague I worked with four years previous with his short student film The Duke which I like to see on either Youtube or Vimeo.
My job on Tuesday's Girl was with camera department and also associate producer just doing odds and sods.
It was a four day shoot filming around Cardiff and Newport and met some great people on this film shoot. Luke Andrews was the 1st Assistant, Keefa Chan was Cameraman, David Shou, Sy Turner and the legend Karam Ezzideen aka K.
I remember on one of shooting day there was strange moment when some random conversation about the word "covarsist" came from Mr Brown and K. Yes my bad spelling on the word in brackets, never mind no one prefect.
The reason I wanted write a blog on Tuesday's Day is I just noticed that only 92 people have watched this short film. I wanted to see if anyone would like to watch it.

Movie Trailer - 1988 - Who Framed Roger Rabbit
Last week I heard that the legend Bob Hoskins has retired from acting due to being diagnosed with Parkinson disease. This is a sad loss to British and Hollywood industry as one of great talented actors.

Child's Play 3
Last night (13th August) me and my girlfriend decided to watch Child Play 3 which was shown on ITV4 on Saturday I was curious to see why the controversy e.g. James Bulger case. I have to be honest I watched bits of the film, I remember there were teenaged soldiers dressed like they auditioned for Thunderbirds. There was the actor who played The Scorpio in Dirty Harry. Chucky swears. I fell asleep.
I decided I don't like the film all the film is good for is to fall asleep.

The Biggest Screen in Wales: City Cinema
December 30th 2007 coming towards end of the night I filmed with Sony ericsson good friend and co-staff Tish kick a piece of paper... I think. The picture quality isn't prefect well it's not an iPhone.
On and off until April 2008, I used to work at City Cinema, Newport either working behind box office or as a projectionist. City cinema was one of these places you love it or hated it.
City cinema could of been a great cinema if it wasn't for the outside management who picked up films that was competitve with the bigger cinema. In my opinion it could of been better potential. What can you do.
Before Me and the rest of the staff were towards the dole cue, a bunch of young talented filmmaker made this documentary about the City cinema.

Not Quite Hollywood (2008)
I always loved watching Ozzie cinema they are so off the wall. I films like The Long Weekend, Mad Max and Turkey Shoot.
Not Quite Hollywood is a honest made documentary about filmmaking that broke the rules. It's funny and down to earth interviews from Dennis Hopper to Tarantino.
I am looking forward to watching the directors Mark Hartley's follow up about Hollywood moguls Golan-Globus.

The Forthcoming new James Bond SKYFALL - Official Trailer
Tonight I just watched the 007 movie trailer Skyfall which I been looking forward to since the four year long wait. This looks like it going to kick ass. I great to see the new Q. Also I like to see how Oscar Winner filmmaker Sam Mendes (American Beauty) makes this new Bond film which I was surprised that he be the chosen to be the Bond director, but I am intrigued. I was surprised with another Oscar nominated filmmaker Michael Apted who had made many dramas like Gorilla's In the Mist and underrated Gangster film The Squeeze (1977) he made The World Is Not Enough (1999) which is one of the better one's. Again I be looking forward to this at the cinemas.
